Our Mission
just another story is a media production group focused on telling stories about the world we live in. Exploring joy, sorrow, culture, and experiences is our passion. Through photography, video, traditional art, and the written word, we seek to share the unique journeys that people take throughout their lives. Share it with us and we’ll share it with the world.

Our Programs
Our programs focus on the four values which guide our organization: Truth, Adventure, Community, and Imagination. These qualities carry through each of our projects, but each project features one of them. From art installations and autobiographies, to table-top roleplaying games and fiction, we work hard to make sure that each “just another story” comes alive.
Truth
Projects which focus on Truth tell a story of experiences, of viewpoints, or struggle. These projects may be essays about the nature of things, stories about a person’s life, or even photographs showing how folks see the world.
Community
Our Community projects seek to show the ways that people come together and connect. From cultural celebrations to collaborative storytelling, we seek out ways that folks make shared meaning in the world and in their lives.
One project, just magical stories, is a community centered around inclusion in role-playing games. We operate it as a Discord group which hosts RPGs centered around telling stories collectively online. This project has become even more important since the pandemic.
Adventure
Adventure is a way for us to think about the different things that we do which drive us out of our comfort zone or expose us to new things. These stories often involve travel, but also learning and curiosity.
Imagination
In our art and writing projects we help support the Imagination of artists, writers, and other creatives in pursuit of getting their work out into the world. We celebrate the different ways that creative and imaginative work can expand the horizons of those who engage with it.
Our quarterly magazine, liminal selves, gives an outlet to those who who exist in or experience liminalities in their identities and lives. We publish work which shows the self as a thing in transition or lying outside of categorical expectations.
